Elida Silvey is a self taught Mexican-American writer, editor and artist living in London. Her writing is concerned with post-internet visual theory as it relates to the concepts of reality, time and 'the self’ as experienced through (collective) memory. She regularly writes about this topic on her Substack, Through the Eye of a Needle.
She is the assistant editor for Montez Press and is 1/2 of Dream Sequence an experimental film club.
